This night is sure to impress your date and make them think you are very cultured. Bonus: you only have to park ONCE, because all 3 stops are within walking distance!! We start off at the landmark Last Bookstore, where you can peruse the shelves with plenty of Instagrammable areas, then across the street you can enjoy a fabulous Tex Mex dinner at Bar Ama. After dinner, it's time for sexy lighting, vinyl records, and craft cocktails at Love Song Bar. This will be a night to remember!

California's largest bookshop is an LA landmark. Housed inside of a 100-year-old bank building with 25 foot high ceilings, sculptures made of books, and plenty of reading nooks to read (or makeout in)... this is a really fun place to explore. Be sure to check out the upstairs which has art galleries, a yarn store, and a $1 book section. There's even a famous book tunnel, which is a great photo op!

Bar Ama is an absolute gem. With a fresh, California twist on Tex Mex classics, plus tasty margaritas, this is the perfect date night spot in DTLA. There are plenty of regular and vegan options on their menu. The queso is an absolute MUST - creamy and spicy, and shockingly the vegan version is just as good as the cheesy one. You can also order a variety of gourmet tacos. My favorites are the Mushroom Birria and the Fried Fish. If you still have room for dessert, definitely try their housemade churros. They have a Super Nacho Hour (happy hour) 5pm-10pm at the bar at and 5-7pm at the tables. The nachos are to die for, and great for a group. Be sure to make a reservation, as this place gets busy on the weekends.

An intimate and classy cocktail den with vinyl spinning or live music offerings every night, this magical bar is a local favorite. Their music and cocktail menu is always updated, ensuring that each visit will be unique and fun. I highly recommend that you try their signature cocktail menu - my fave is the "Short Skirt Long Jacket" - Hangar 1 Vodka, Ancho Reyes, cucumber and lime. They've also got an amazing Moscow Mule or Old Fashioned, plus other drinks named after love songs. If you get hungry for a late night bite, this spot is next door to Prufrock Pizzeria, and you're allowed to order a pie to eat at the bar. Pizza, cocktails, and vinyl?! What a dream! Be sure to check out their calendar for upcoming concerts or DJ's.
